3d Generated Art & other
I'm still very new to this stuff
This was my first time cutting fractals, this simple cut on the X-Axis reveals a fascinating interior.
I love how this fractal looks metallic and organic.
The first fractal in this gallery viewed from a perpendicular angle, pretty neat.
I was exploring a fractal and was close to the mathematical constraints/limits, somehow this bleak sandy terrain appeared.
Somehow this one ended up looking eerily samilar to natural rock formations caused by long-term erosion of hard rock layers.
This was my first time trying out PBR (Physically Based Rendering), materials are rendered using this method much more efficiently and end up looking much more realistic.
This functionality was added to Blender very recently and most notable usage of PBR is in IdTech's new DOOM.
Experimenting with procedurally generated materials and geometry, I accidentally made this Dragon-egg looking shape.
Optical illusions and geometric patterns such as these totally make me happy.
This is probably what a snake's scales would look like if its energy source was a White Dwarf.
I used the Dragon egg and the PBR test to make my Soundcloud Logo.
Mandelbulber and Mandelbulb3D, you gotta check them out.
(the former has Windows, Linux and Mac versions while the latter supports Windows and Macintosh.)
